Is totally made with Sangiovese grapes, vinified and matured in steel tins with controlled temperature. It stays a year in bottles before going on the market.
Thanks to it’s structure, to the right acidity and the pleasant fruity taste it can be used for appetizers, and first courses with vegetables and meat and with medium seasoned cheeses. The Chianti Montalbano DOCG is a very versatile in linking the History of Chianti with the aerea. It is usually served in goblets for the red medium body served at a temperature of 18°C, but during summer thanks to the softness of it’s tannins it can be served at 16°C with fish dishes.
